The registrar tells you that a 79-year old woman has been brought in by ambulance to resus with severe shortness of breath. Her husband called 999 and she was brought in straight from her home, there is no history of trauma.

Please assess the patient appropriately in an A-E fashion, and treat as you proceed.

The actor will provide you with examination findings as prompted by you.
